OATMEAL


With the advent of a majority of lifestyle disorders and health issues, the food choices that we make have become a major concern for everyone.

It’s the 21st century, and we are living a roller coaster life rushing from schools, colleges, offices, etc. to home and vice versa. Food choices have become the convenient ones rather than nutritional ones, and daily nutritional intake and health status of people has gone into drain.

The working mother has to prepare breakfast for her  family, rush the kids to schools/colleges, husband to office , pack separate lunches for them and then rush herself to office. About a cup of oatmeal has about 150 calories,6 grams of protein,  4 grams of fiber and various minerals like iron, thiamin, selenium, magnesium, zinc and phosphorous, giving us the much needed daily boost of nutrition with very low calories.

Now, the bigger question arises that how to make Oatmeal Tasty and with variety ? You can have oats poha, oats upma, oats idli, milk oats, oats porridge, masala oats, oats cheela, oats and fruit smoothie.

Add variety as well as nutrition to your diet with these options and enjoy the goodness of oats.
